1. Agreement
By downloading or using Veilspace, you agree to these terms and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If the terms conflict, Apple’s standard EULA controls where required.
2. License and permitted use
Veilspace grants you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices associated with your App Store account, subject to Apple’s rules. You are responsible for ensuring that your stored content and use comply with applicable law and third-party rights.
3. Trial and Lifetime purchase
The 30-day full-access period starts on the date the Apple Account first downloaded Veilspace, not the date the app is first opened. After it ends, a Lifetime in-app purchase is required to import, duplicate, or create new stored content. Existing content remains available to browse, preview, organize, export, and delete. Prices, taxes, Family Sharing availability, refunds, and purchase processing are controlled by Apple and the App Store.
4. No recovery or backup
You accept that Veilspace has no code recovery, workspace list, cloud sync, or encrypted backup. A forgotten code cannot be reset. Deleting the app, resetting or losing the device, removing its passcode, or changing devices can permanently destroy access to every workspace. You are solely responsible for remembering codes and retaining separate copies of files you cannot afford to lose.
5. Security limitations
Veilspace is intended to reduce exposure and provide encrypted local storage, but no software or device is perfectly secure. A six-digit app code is not equivalent to an iPhone or iPad system passcode. You must use the app only with a device passcode and keep iOS or iPadOS updated.
6. Prohibited use
You may not use Veilspace to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, harm another person, bypass App Store controls, reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it, or interfere with the app’s operation.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue features to maintain security, compatibility, or legal compliance. We do not guarantee that every file format can be previewed, though unsupported files may still be stored and exported.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veilspace is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Kao9 is not liable for lost files, forgotten codes, device failure, source files left in another app, unauthorized access, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.
